A 39-year-old Skillman woman was arrested and charged with robbing a bank in Princeton last year using a water pistol, authorities said.
On Sunday, July 28, 2024, Ciara Brascom entered the TD Bank and demanded cash from the teller, while holding what appeared to be a black handgun, Acting U.S. Attorney Vikas Khanna said.

A 33-year-old Trenton man was arrested and charged this week with illegally possessing firearms and dealing fentanyl and cocaine, authorities said.
On Wednesday, May 15, police searched the apartment of Jose Colon-Matos, recovering two loaded firearms from a safe, including one with an obliterated serial number, large quantities of fentanyl and cocaine and $9,000 in cash, US Attorney Philip Sellinger said.

A former Hudson County sheriff’s officer admitted defrauding a bank to duck $98,000 in mortgage payments on a Jersey Shore home, federal authorities said.
Osbado Hernandez, 54, of Avenel, conspired with others to lie about a bogus short sale of his house in Keansburg so that the unidentified bank would discharge what was left on his mortgage, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

Plea Deal: 10 Years, No Parole, Awaits Philly Dealer Who Slung Meth In NJ
UPDATE: A plea deal is sending a Philadelphia drug dealer who slung meth in New Jersey to federal prison for 10 years without parole, authorities said.
Nasir White, 30, took the deal, pleading guilty to drug conspiracy, rather than risk the consequences of being convicted at a trial. He must serve out the entire sentence because there's no parole in the federal prison system.
