Body Discovered In Refrigerator At Belleplain State Forest, Troopers Say A person's body was found inside a refrigerator in a state forest in Dennis Township, authorities said. Troopers discovered the dead person at Belleplain State Forest on Sunday, Dec. 22, a state police spokesperson said.  Police responded to the scene at around 2:54 p.m. The identity of the individual and the circumstances surrounding the death have not yet been released. Belleplain State Forest spans over 21,000 acres in the heart of the Pinelands National Reserve. Philly Man Killed By Headshot In Car Parked In Atlantic City: Prosecutor A 26-year-old man from Philadelphia who was found shot in the driver’s seat of a sedan parked on a street in Atlantic City has died, authorities said. Khalid Scott was found by police at about 12:50 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10 in the two-door car parked in the 1900 block of Grant Avenue with a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. Scott was taken to AtlantiCare Medical Center, where he died at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, the prosecutor’s office said. Man, 40, Stabbed Dead In Trenton A 40-year-old Trenton man was stabbed dead Thursday, Oct. 19, authorities said. Corey Jones was rushed to the hospital around 9 p.m. after being found unresponsive with a stab wound on Cross Street and Kersey Alley, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. 17-Year-Old Girl Shot In Head, Killed In Philadelphia A 17-year-old girl was shot three times and killed while sitting in a car in Philadelphia's Mount Airy section Friday night, police said. She was in a car with three others around 8:30 p.m. at Ross Street, when a large black SUV pulled alongside them and began shooting, authorities said. She was apparently shot once in the head and twice in the chest. The girl was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. No arrests had been made as of Saturday morning. She girl was not believed to have been the target.
