Man Stabbed With Folding Knife During Fight In Atlantic City, Police Say
An Atlantic City man was accused of stabbing a Cumberland County man with a folding knife, authorities said. Rashaun Williams-Brooks, 39, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 13, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to a report of a man stabbed on the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue at around 9:54 p.m. The suspect and victim had left the area by the time police arrived. Officers found the victim bleeding heavily from stab wounds about two blocks from the scene. The victim was brought to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City Division. …

Hit-And-Run Suspect Ditched Damaged Vehicle In Cape May Intersection, Police Say
A Camden County man was accused of injuring a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash in Cape May, authorities said. Brandon Rollans, 25, of Blackwood, was arrested on Wednesday, July 31, the Cape May Police Department said in a news release. An officer saw him driving a vehicle with a damaged windshield and rear near the intersection of Lafayette Street and Sidney Avenue at around 11:46 a.m. Investigators said Rollans refused to stop for the officer and eventually abandoned the vehicle in the intersection of Beach Avenue and Ocean Street. Two wanted men were arrested after being accused of having a gun and methamphetamine in a rideshare vehicle in Atlantic City, authorities said. Atlantic City police responded to a report of an armed man on the 2800 block of Pacific Avenue on Friday, June 28, the department said in a news release. An officer found 40-year-old Matthew Murphy of Egg Harbor Township and 47-year-old Nathaniel Rodgers of Atlantic City entering a rideshare vehicle. A 31-year-old Atlantic City man was arrested by SWAT after a standoff with police, authorities said. On Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 2:19 a.m., Atlantic City patrol officers responded to Albany and Winchester Avenues for a report of a man threatening and chasing another man with a handgun. A 15-year-old boy from Pleasantville — armed with a handgun — was arrested after allegedly pointing the weapon at a house, authorities said. On Tuesday, May 30, at 11:31 p.m., Atlantic City Police Officer John Bell was in the 600 block of Kentucky Avenue when he saw a laser beam being pointed at the house, police said.
