Sudden Death Of NJ High School Assistant Principal Spreads Shock, Sadness A New Jersey community was mourning the sudden loss of a high school administrator and father of five. Andrew "AJ" Barchetto, 46, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 22, according to family members and his obituary on the Wood Funeral Home website. Barchetto was the assistant principal of Oakcrest High School, where he also served as the supervisor of special education and child study team, the school's website says. Jersey Shore Man Tried To Rob Convenience Store, Person In Parking Lot: Police An Ocean County man was accused of trying to rob a convenience store and someone in a parking lot, authorities said. Mark Stackhouse, 30, of Tuckerton, was arrested on Saturday, Apr. 6, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. He was charged with two counts of robbery. Officers responded to an armed robbery report at the 7-Eleven on Tilton Road at around 6:28 p.m. Stackhouse ran away from the 7-Eleven and went toward a nearby Wawa. Motorcyclist, 50, Killed After Striking Tree In South Jersey: State Police A 50-year-old motorcyclist from Ocean County was killed in a crash in Burlington County, authorities said. New Jersey State Troopers responded to the crash at 7:36 p.m. Sunday, June 25 on Route 653 eastbound at milepost 0.5 in Bass River, they said. Christopher Golden, of Tuckerton, was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle which ran off the roadway to the left and struck a tree, a State Police spokesman said. As a result of the crash, Golden was ejected and sustained fatal injuries.  The crash remains under investigation.
