A Red Bank man admitted to recording upskirt videos of more than two dozen women and girls, including some in their homes, authorities said.
Christopher Cox, 35, pleaded guilty on Friday, Oct. 4 to second-degree eluding police, two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and three counts of third-degree invasion of privacy. Alisyn Camerota, A CNN anchor from Fairfield County, CT and with New Jersey roots is mourning the loss of her husband, she announced in a heartbreaking post on social media.
Camerota, who was born in Shrewsbury, NJ said on Friday, Sept. 20 on Instagram that her husband, Tim Lewis, died on July 27, 2024 — two years after being diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Two sisters from Atlantic County were accused of stealing prescription drugs from a Shrewsbury nursing home, authorities said.
Deborah Baskerville, 38, of Galloway, and Shonte Hall, 36, of Egg Harbor City, were facing charges, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Tuesday, Mar. 26. Two men wanted for beating attendants during a two-day spree of quick-stop armed gas station robberies in three New Jersey counties were captured by federal agents, authorities said.
Ex-con Ahmad Singletary, 24, and Joseph Young, 26, both of Newark, committed three of the robberies last Sept. 5, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

Police have identified the three young women killed in a violent crash on the Garden State Parkway over the weekend.
Detronia Young, 26, and Janiyah Rudolph, 24, both of Asbury Park, along with Ajene Brodie, 25, of Shrewsbury, died in the Sunday, July 10 crash, according to New Jersey State Police. Brodie was driving, police said.
