A Galloway Township man was indicted after he was accused of killing another man while awaiting sentencing, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 35-year-old Kalief Lyons on Tuesday, June 25 for murder and several weapons charges, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. A deadly double-shooting is under investigation in Trenton, authorities said. Jonathan Applegate, of Trenton, was killed in the shooting on Tuesday, June 11, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. His age was not released.
