Three Philadelphia men were indicted after two women were shot in the head in Atlantic City, including one who died, authorities said.
A grand jury indicted 34-year-old Gregg Page for murder, attempted murder, and several weapons charges on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. Two brothers, 30-year-old Ryan Schenck and 27-year-old Ramir Schenck, were also indicted for hindering apprehension.

Philadelphia police have released the mugshots of the man accused of killing a New Jersey actress and the two brothers charged with hindering apprehension in the case.
Gregg Page, 34, has been charged with murder in the Atlantic City slaying of 32-year-old Carley Elbert, an actress from Sewell, on Thursday, Aug. 1.
Page also is also charged with attempted murder for shooting a 29-year-old Pleasantville woman, who survived, at the same time as Elbert, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said (scroll for mugshots).

A pair of brothers from South Jersey were killed in a crash in Vineland, authorities said.
On Tuesday, June 4 at about 11 a.m., members of the Vineland Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit were dispatched to the area of Union Road / Mayslanding Road about a two-vehicle crash with life-threatening injuries.

A 36-year-old woman from Gloucester County was charged with DWI, assault by auto and reckless vehicular homicide after a three-car crash, authorities said.
Julia R. Scanlon, of Sewell, allegedly was intoxicated as she drove a car southbound on Egg Harbor Road at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, July 27, and blew through a red light at Ganttown Road, according to Washington Township police.
Her car collided with a car driven by Frank J. Bersani traveling west on Ganttown Road and the impact sent the SUV crashing into a minivan heading east, police said.

Support is on the rise for a South Jersey pharmacist who’s been battling brain cancer since 2014, recently undergoing his third surgery and enduring seizures almost constantly.

Marie Sechuk and her family suffered a house fire on April 19 that left them with nothing but the clothes on their backs, according to Chris Meares of Sewell.

Man, 35, Shot Dead In South Jersey
A 35-year-old man from Gloucester County was shot to death in Cumberland County, authorities said.
On Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 10:21 p.m., Vineland police responded to the 400 block of Landis Avenue for reported gunshots. Arriving Officers found the victim, Russell Workman, last known of Sewell, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no known threat to the public at this time.

'Coming To Rape Your Family': NJ Man Admits Texting Racist Threats To Black MD Woman
A New Jersey man admitted that he sent racist texts to a Maryland woman threatening to hurt her and her family, federal authorities said.
"I know where you live now, I'm coming to rape your family," Michael Marotta, 26, of Sewell (Gloucester County) texted the woman using an anonymizing messaging service, they said.
Marotta "used racial epithets" in the texts, which included "eat my bullets," according to an FBI complaint.
