Motorcyclist Killed In High-Speed Crash With SUV: West Deptford PD
A 44-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into an SUV in West Deptford on Wednesday, Jan. 29, authorities said. At 12:22 p.m., officers responded to Grove Avenue and Crozier Avenue, West Deptford police said. An investigation determined a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed had collided with an SUV that was attempting to make a left turn from Grove Avenue onto Crozier Avenue, police said. The motorcyclist, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Ford Recalls 272K+ Vehicles For Sudden Battery Failure Linked To Crash Risk
More than 272,000 Ford vehicles are being recalled because of defective 12-volt batteries that could degrade suddenly, causing power loss and increasing crash risk, officials said. Ford issued the recall for certain Maverick pickups and Bronco Sport SUVs, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. A 41-year-old Camden woman was fatally struck by a vehicle on the early morning of Friday, Jan. 17 in Florence, authorities said. At 5:43 a.m., officers responded to a pedestrian struck near 1091 Florence-Columbus Road, Florence Township police said. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A 23-year-old man from Hamilton was killed when his car struck a boulder and rolled over in Princeton, authorities said. The driver who was killed in the one-car crash was identified as Matt Leon.
