South Jersey Man Killed In Crash Into Delaware River
A Gloucester County man was killed after his car crashed into the Delaware River in Salem County, authorities said. The 23-year-old man from Monroeville died in the crash at Industrial Park Road and Riviera Drive at about 8 a.m. Saturday, April 13, Pennsville Township police said. His name had not been released. First responders found the vehicle overturned in the river.

These 9 NJ Towns Failed To Correct Sick Leave Policies, State Comptroller Says
Towns throughout the Garden State have not addressed their sick and vacation leave policies, the state's comptroller said. In a letter sent to Gov. Phil Murphy, Senate President Nicholas Scutari, Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin and State Comptroller Kevin Walsh said nine municipalities have refused to cooperate and develop a correction action plan and is requesting that Murphy's office withhold state funds if they do not cooperate within 30 days. A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in South Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred before 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31 on North Broadway in Pennsville Township. A medical helicopter was requested. CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES

Driver Killed In Fiery Crash Into Woods ID'd: State Police
The Salem County motorist killed when his car smashed into a tree and burst into flames has been identified, authorities said. Christopher D. Leaf, 34, of Pennsville Township, was driving south on Interstate 295 in Carneys Point Township at about 10:30 p.m. on April 24 when his car left the interstate, according to New Jersey State Police. Leaf died of his injuries in the single-car crash, police said. No one else was in his car.
