'We Gave It Everything': Dog-Themed Bar Permanently Closing In Atlantic City A Philadelphia bar and restaurant is shutting down its Atlantic City location a little more than a year after opening near O'Donnell Memorial Park. In a Facebook post on Monday, Aug. 5, Good Dog Bar announced it was permanently closing its restaurant at 3426 Atlantic Avenue. The bar's final day of operation is Sunday, Aug. 11.
