Madison Resort Wildwood Crest Opening A new beach resort in Cape May County will have a modern twist on historic architecture reminiscent of the doo-wop era. Madison Resorts will open its second Jersey Shore resort in Wildwood Crest on Thursday, May 16, the company said in a news release. $13.4 Million Merger Brings Massive Beachfront Resort To Jersey Shore Madison Resorts will open the largest resort in Cape May County next year, officials announced. Madison Resorts has purchased the Royal Hawaiian in Wildwood Crest for $13.4 million and will invest another $7 million for renovations. The Royal Hawaiian property will be united with the former Oceanview Motel next door which has been under construction since earlier this year.
