Mom Of Track Star, 19, Killed In NJ Crash Files Lawsuit Against Other Driver
The mother of a former New Jersey track star and motorcyclist killed in a crash over the summer has filed a lawsuit against the other driver involved. Jeremiah Saint Surin, 19, was killed when his motorcycle collided with an SUV the intersection of West Jersey Avenue and Cates Road in Egg Harbor Township around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, June 1, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Sudden Death Of NJ High School Assistant Principal Spreads Shock, Sadness
A New Jersey community was mourning the sudden loss of a high school administrator and father of five. Andrew "AJ" Barchetto, 46, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 22, according to family members and his obituary on the Wood Funeral Home website. Barchetto was the assistant principal of Oakcrest High School, where he also served as the supervisor of special education and child study team, the school's website says. Former Sprinter Killed In Crash 'Left A Lasting Footprint' On South Jersey HS Track Team
Friends and former teammates were remembering a Mays Landing teen who died after crashing his motorcycle, according to a fundraising campaign. A GoFundMe page was created for 19-year-old Jeremiah St. Surin after he was killed in the crash at around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 1. Egg Harbor Township police said St. Surin's motorcycle struck a Ford Explorer at the intersection of West Jersey Avenue and Cates Road. Lisa Nicole McCann, a native of Vineland, died at home on March 29, according to her obituary. She was 49 years old. Lisa attended Oakcrest High School after moving to Richland. Her favorite character was Tigger: "She bounced through life the best she could. She always had a smile on her face, even on a bad day," her obit said. Darren Drozdov, a professional wrestler and former NFL player nicknamed "Puke" for vomiting on the ball, died on Friday, June 30. He was 54 years old. Darren, of Hamilton, NJ, grew up playing football as a quarterback in Mays Landing and was All-State in football at Oakcrest High School.
