A 29-year-old Trenton man has been arrested for attempted murder after setting his pit bull loose on a man before stabbing him, authorities said. The attack occurred on July 13 at about 10:20 a.m. at New Willow and Southard streets, according to Trenton police. Police found a 50-year-old male victim from Trenton bleeding heavily from a severe cut to his midsection. Pair Charged In Trenton Man's Murder: Prosecutor
Two suspects have been charged with murder following last month’s deadly double shooting of a 19-year-old Trenton man, authorities announced. Trenton residents Quashawn Hightower, 23, and Desire Knighton, 21, gunned down Shimon Nesmith Jr., on the 1100 block of New Willow Street just after 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 1,Prosecutor Angelo J. Authorities have identified the 19-year-old man killed in a Trenton double-shooting Tuesday afternoon. Shimon Nesmith Jr. was found with several gunshot wounds as officers responded to a Shot Spotter activation with 11 rounds fired on the 1100 block of New Willow Street just after 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 1, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
