Dayle Haddon, a celebrated Canadian actress, model, and humanitarian, has been identified as the victim of a fatal carbon monoxide leak at a Solebury Township residence, authorities confirmed. The tragedy unfolded Friday morning, Dec. 28, at a home on the 6900 block of Phillips Mill Road. Emergency responders were called to the property around 6:31 a.m. after Bucks County 911 received a report of an unconscious man on the first floor of a detached office/in-law suite, police said. Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy has been in Bucks County taking bites out of pies this week. The latest stop on this leg of the One Bite tour is Russo's in New Hope. The restaurant, owned by a Trenton/Robbinsville area native, specializes in the tomato pie. What's Portnoy have to say? 7.5. Police Intercept NJ Man Raping Woman In Suburban Philly Alleyway
A New Jersey man was arrested after police say he was spotted publicly raping a woman in the Philadelphia suburbs. Two officers were patrolling New Hope just before midnight Friday, July 1, when a resident reported seeing a rape happening in an alleyway on West Mechanic Street, police said. The resident claimed the 21-year-old woman told her to call 911. The act was still going on when the cops arrived, they said. The rape suspect was identified as 22-year-old Ryan E. A New Jersey attorney who lives in Pennsylvania was arrested by federal agents after he submitted a false visa application for a client who turned out to be a government informant, authorities said. Steven G. Thomas, 52, of New Hope, PA had been encouraging clients to apply for asylum under false pretenses, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said on Wednesday, Feb. 23.
