Police ID Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Burlington County
A 57-year-old pedestrian from Trenton was struck and killed in Burlington County, authorities said. The crash temporarily shut down Route 38 eastbound at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 in Mount Laurel Township, police said. Alfonsie Hollands was pronounced dead in the roadway near Interstate 295, police said. The driver remained at the crash scene and had not been charged, police said.

11-Year-Old Boy Burned When Gas Can Explodes At South Jersey Bonfire: Report
An 11-year-old boy was severely burned when he poured gasoline on a backyard bonfire, NJ Advance Media reported. EMS crews responded to 198 Ramblewood Parkway in Mount Laurel Township at 6:15 p.m. after neighbors reported an explosion, initial reports said. As the child poured gas on the fire, flames traveled to the gas can, which exploded while the boy was holding it, the outlet reports citing Mount Laurel police.
