Major Mall-Based Chain To Close 543 Stores After Filing For Bankruptcy
A major retailer primarily located in malls and headquartered in Pennsylvania is set to close all 543 of its stores following its third Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. Closures for all rue21 locations are expected to be completed within the next two months with going-out-of-business sales coming soon. The company, headquartered in Pennsylvania outside Pittsburgh, had first filed for bankruptcy in 2003, and then for a second time in 2017, when it closed around 400 stores. Man, 47, Killed When Pickup Strikes Pole In South Jersey: Police
A 47-year-old man was killed when his pickup truck was involved in a one-vehicle crash, authorities said. Walter Green IV, 47, of Monroeville, was driving north on the 2500 block of Delsea Drive in Franklin Township when his truck ran off the road and hit a utility pole at 10:38 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, according to Franklin Township police. First responders found Green unresponsive and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The crash remains under investigation.

NJ Man Broke 'Every Bone' In Unconscious Victim's Face Over Affair At PA Hotel: Police
A 46-year-old New Jersey man beat a man he believed was having an affair with his wife unconscious at a Pennsylvania hotel, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice. Jeremy McCool of Marlton was laying in the mulch area outside of the Doubletree hotel at the Monroeville Convention Center, making "snoring respirations and (had) severe facial trauma" when Officer Gowans and Corporal Frisk with the Monroeville Police Department, found him around 11:34 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, according to the affidavit. Uber Driver, Mom Of Four Found Dead In PA
A mother of four who did not return from her work as an Uber driver was found dead in Pennsylvania on Saturday, according to the police. Christina “Christi” Marto Spicuzza, 38, of Turtle Creek, had been missing since Thursday, Feb. 10. Two days later, the Monroeville police were called to the 500 block of Rosecrest Drive in Allegheny County around noon for a body discovery — later identified as that of Spicuzza's, authorities said in an updated release.
