Drones Banned Over Another 9 NJ Towns: Here's Where
New Jersey skies are tightening up yet again. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has clipped the wings of drone operators in nine more towns, expanding its already hefty "No Drone Zone" list.
The FAA’s move, announced Monday, Dec. 30, comes in response to a spate of drone sightings near "critical New Jersey infrastructure," as previously reported by Daily Voice.
On Dec. 19, the FAA issued 22 Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR), barring drones from certain areas. Then, on Tuesday, Dec. 24, more were added.

A winning pair of Mega Millions tickets each good for $10,000 were sold in Middlesex and Union counties.
The third-tier prizewinning tickets from the Friday, June 16 drawing matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize.

Colombian Nationals Nabbed After NJ Home Break-In Nets Jewelry, Furs, Cash, More
Three Colombian nationals remain in federal custody and a fourth has already been deported after the government said they stole jewelry, a Rolex, an antique rifle, furs and cash in a home burglary in Union County.
The quartet also took a stamp collection, luxury bags and more after breaking into the Cranford home shortly before 5 p.m. last Nov. 30, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

Feds: NJ Service Station Manager Admits Stealing $78,000 From Amtrak, Regular Customers
A New Jersey service station manager admitted stealing $78,000 from more than 17 customers, including Amtrak, through bogus charges for gas, federal authorities said.
Umer Hassan Mir, 40, of South Amboy told a federal judge in Newark on Tuesday that he deposited the charges into the coffers of a Delta gas station in Metuchen, then siphoned off the proceeds in cash from the register over the course of 3½ years.
