A 39-year-old man was killed and four others were left critical following a head-on collision with a drunken driver in Camden County, authorities said.
Gerard Norum, 51, of Blackwood, was behind the wheel of the crash on White Horse Pike in Somerdale that killed Walter Lopez-Arevalo, of Lindenwold, just before midnight Thursday, March 14, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay.

Several parts of New Jersey were under tornado watches and warnings, as per the National Weather Service on Saturday, April 1.
Burlington and Mercer counties were under a tornado warning until 7:15 p.m., while parts of Browns Mills, Fort Dix, Hamilton Square, Marlton, West Freehold and White Horse were under the warning until between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m.

A jury has convicted a Burlington County man of fatally shooting a woman in the head as she tried to sell him a cellphone, authorities said.
Marvin A. Coleman Jr., 24, of Willingboro was found guilty Tuesday, March 21, of murder, robbery and weapons offenses, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw.
Coleman killed a 21-year-old Lindenwold woman four years ago while she was sitting in her car in the Millbrook Park section of Willingboro Township, Bradshaw said.

Raquel M. Syvertson, 52, of Atco, was charged on Wednesday, Dec. 21, with knowingly leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Lindenwold Police Chief Michael P. McCarthy, Jr.

Man, 35, Arrested On Burglary Charges In South Jersey: Police
A 35-year-old man from Camden County has been arrested on burglary charges in Burlington County, authorities said.
An extensive investigation was completed by members of the Evesham Township Investigative Bureau and on Saturday, Nov. 5, enough evidence was gathered to charge Shadeed Jordan of Lindenwold with burglary and theft in two cases, police said.
Jordan, who is already incarcerated (unrelated to the Evesham Township case), was served with his warrants and remains in jail, police said.

A South Jersey man charged with a murder and conspiracy to commit murder pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Nov. 2, authorities said.
Kenneth Saal, 33, formerly of Lindenwold, also admitted burglary and stalking in connection with the murder of Carolyn Byington, 26, of Plainsboro, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.
