Woman, 76, Charged In Deadly New Year’s Eve Hit-And-Run In Wildwood, Prosecutors Say A Wildwood Crest woman was accused of leaving the scene of a deadly crash in Wildwood on New Year's Eve, authorities said. Marylin Glenn, 76, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 2, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland said in a news release. Investigators said Glenn struck a pedestrian identified by the initials C.C. near the intersection of West Hand and Hudson avenues. Glenn left the area but contacted law enforcement shortly after the crash. Sierra A. Thomas, 28, of Bridgeton, was driving on May 10, 2023, when police said her SUV struck Larissa Muniz as she crossed East Broad Street in Bridgeton near a Wawa. Larissa, 10, died of her injuries 18 days later. Good Impression: Plate Indentation Helps Glen Rock Police ID Hit-And-Run Vehicle A motorist literally made an impression that helped Glen Rock police crack a hit-and-run crash that injured another driver, authorities said. A 48-year-old borough man had stopped for a pedestrian in a crosswalk on Rock Road just east of Main Street when his 2012 Honda Accord was rear-ended by a black Jeep that fled the scene, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. The driver was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening after the 6:42 p.m. crash last Thursday, Oct. 20, the chief said. Release Revoked For Woman Indicted In Crash That Killed Off-Duty Police Officer: Prosecutor Judge Dorothy Incarvito-Garrabrant revoked the release of a woman who was involved in the June 19, 2020, crash that killed off-duty New Jersey Human Services Police Officer, Michael Luko Sr., authorities said. Taquaysha Bell, 30, of Trenton, had been indicted for vehicular homicide and assault by auto while DWI.
