Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Much Of NJ, PA: Here's The Timing
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania. The watch is in effect through 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 and applies to all of New Jersey. In Pennsylvania, the watch covers Adams, Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Pike, Schuylkill, Wayne, Wyoming, and York in Pennsylvania. Major Mall-Based Chain To Close 543 Stores After Filing For Bankruptcy
A major retailer primarily located in malls and headquartered in Pennsylvania is set to close all 543 of its stores following its third Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. Closures for all rue21 locations are expected to be completed within the next two months with going-out-of-business sales coming soon. The company, headquartered in Pennsylvania outside Pittsburgh, had first filed for bankruptcy in 2003, and then for a second time in 2017, when it closed around 400 stores. A Pennsylvania mom who secretly moved to New Jersey and left her child behind has been arrested and has a whole new look, based on information shared with Daily Voice by the prison warden on Tuesday, Jan. 30. Pennsylvania native Brandon M. Kuklentz died suddenly on Tuesday, March 29 after battling addiction, according to loved ones mourning his loss. He was 29 years old. A man has been charged after he threw things off a second floor balcony and screamed that he would hurt a police officer with a box cutter– all while naked, according to a release by police. Caller ID Leads To Guilty Verdict For NJ Man Who Dealt Fatal Fentanyl In PA
A drug dealer who sold lethal doses of fentanyl to undercover police officers was found guilty thanks in part to his caller ID, according to a release by the Lancaster County district attorney's office. Emilio Perralta, 20, of Newark, New Jersey, had his bail revoked after the jury returned guilty verdicts on all charges on Dec. 9, according to the release.
