Motorcyclist Ejected At Jersey Shore Intersection Dies In Crash, Police Say
A Brick Township man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle at an intersection, authorities said. Horace Giambona, 64, died in the crash on Wednesday, Oct. 23, the Brick Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the wreck at the intersection of Brick and Yorktowne boulevards at around 2:34 p.m. Investigators said Giambona was traveling north on Brick Boulevard and approached the intersection. A woman was flown to the hospital after a careless driver drove onto the sidewalk and struck her while she was walking her dog in an Ocean County town on Friday, Sept. 6, police said. Police officers on the Jersey Shore are credited with saving the life of a baby who stopped breathing. Marlboro Township police received a 9-1-1 phone call on Saturday night Feb. 19 from a resident on Amagansett Drive who stated their 2-month-old baby was not breathing.
