Driver Airlifted After Crashing SUV Into Jersey Shore Home On Labor Day, Police Say
A driver was airlifted after crashing into a home in New Egypt on Labor Day, authorities said. Plumsted police, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the crash at the intersection of Brindletown Road and Front Street early in the evening on Monday, Sept. 2, the township said in a Facebook post. The driver was the only person in the SUV and was taken by helicopter to a hospital. No one was in the home during the crash. Crews worked to make the house structurally sound and "delicately" removed the SUV.

A New Jersey man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Pennsylvania gentlemen's club that left an innocent bystander with critical injuries, authorities announced on Thursday evening, Aug. 29. Pedro E. Rodriguez, 27, of Trenton, NJ, was identified as the shooter, police had announced on Thursday morning, Aug. 28. Rodriguez and another man fled after the shooting at The Border at 440 S. A Pennsylvania man was airlifted to a hospital after a crash involving an ambulance heading to an emergency in Cape May County, authorities said. Motorist Trapped, Airlifted In Burlington County Crash: Developing
A motorist was trapped and had to be airlifted after a crash, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. near 275 Kettle Run Road in Evesham, initial reports said. Male Critically Wounded In Central Jersey Morning Shooting
One person was left critical following a shooting in Central Jersey Sunday, authorities said. The male was found with a gunshot wound around 10:20 a.m. near Remsen Avenue and Seaman Street in New Brunswick, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. Two cats and a dog died in a pre-Christmas fire that severely damaged a Bergenfield home. Firefighters who responded within three minutes were met by flames on the first floor of the 2½-story Lunn Avenue home shortly after 1 p.m., Bergenfield Fire Chief Edward J Kneisler III said.
