Firefighters Battle Apartment Blaze In South Jersey
Firefighters from multiple departments in South Jersey battled an apartment fire, authorities said. On Tuesday, July 30, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Gloucester Township Police Officers were dispatched to 1341 Blackwood Clementon Road, Millbridge Apartments, Building 900, in response to a reported apartment fire. Fire departments from Blackwood, Chews Landing, Erial and Lambs Terrace, along with departments from Pine Hill, Runnemede, and Bellmawr, responded and successfully brought the fire under control, police said. On Tuesday, July 9 at about 4 a.m., a burglary suspect was caught on surveillance video trying to break into vehicles in Camden County, authorities said. The first vehicle was locked but he then successfully broke into three unlocked vehicles, Gloucester Township police said on Thursday, July 11. The incident captured on video happened off of Johnson Road, police said.
