A pair of New Jersey State Troopers and a Glouceter Township officer are being hailed as heroes after rescuing a suicidal woman from leaping off of an overpass. Troopers Corey Beczo and Brandon Muessig were dispatched to the Route 42 overpass at exit 10A for the report of person sitting on the guardrail around 12:35 p.m. July 26. A house fire in South Jersey displaced a family of four, authorities said. On Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 9:31 a.m, Gloucester Township police responded to South Collins Court in the Blackwood Section for a report of a dwelling fire. Police found smoke conditions coming from the roof of the townhome. Police in South Jersey talked a woman out of jumping off an overpass, authorities said. A Camden County jury has convicted a mother of three in the suffocation of her toddler who prosecutors say she killed in part because he was getting in the way of her affair. Heather Reynolds, 44, of Sicklerville, was convicted of murder and additional charges connected to the May 2018 death of her 17-month-old son, Axel, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C.
