A 45-year-old man is facing charges after police say he injured two officers at a Camden County apartment complex last week. An ATV driver was seriously injured after police say he drove recklessly along Black Horse Pike and crashed in Gloucester Township Friday, Aug. 16. The four-wheeled ATV operator was found lying in the roadway while the ATV itself had come to rest in a nearby wooded area near Clementon Avenue around 6:35 p.m., local police said. A skunk removed from a neighborhood in Gloucester Township has tested positive for rabies, authorities said. On Tuesday, Aug. 13, a Gloucester Township resident observed their dogs with a skunk in their neighborhood. The Animal Control Officer for Gloucester Township picked up the animal and it was submitted for rabies testing at the state Public Health & Environmental Laboratories in Trenton (PHEL). At approximately 3:30 p.m., Gloucester Township police observed heavy smoke at Marksmen Transport, 1900 Erial Road in Blackwood, they said.
