Camden Man, 22, Killed In Atlantic City Expressway Crash After Striking Multiple Trees
A 22-year-old man from Camden was killed in a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway, authorities said.
Hamza Muhammad lost control of his Dodge SUV, ran off the roadway left, struck the guardrail, continued down an embankment, and overturned before colliding with multiple trees at about 9:15 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said.
The crash occurred westbound near milepost 20.5 in Hamilton Township, Atlantic County.
The crash remains under investigation and there was no additional information available.

A Texas man has been sentenced to nine years in New Jersey State Prison for fleeing the scene of a fatal hit-and-run crash along the Garden State Parkway, authorities said.
Fornice Cary Boatner III, 33, of Cleveland, Texas, was sentenced on Monday, Nov. 13, for knowingly leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in the May 2022 death of 31-year-old Felipe Dos Santos last year in Woodbridge, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.

Racing Bucks Driver, 19, Charged In Fatal Philly Crash Was Arrested Last Fall At Car Show
A 19-year-old Bucks County driver has been charged in a Philadelphia crash that killed a pedestrian, authorities said — even more troubling, he was arrested last October.
Joseph Vannauker, of Levittown, is facing charges of homicide by vehicle, murder, and reckless driving, for the 12:05 a.m. crash on Castor and Aramingo Tuesday, Aug. 22, Philadelphia police said.
Last October, Vannauker was arrested for screaming profanities at police using a bullhorn during and inciting crowds during a car show that caused chaos in Philadelphia streets, Fox29 reports.

Police responded to a crash in Rockland County at the intersection of Route 303 and Greenbush Road in Blauvelt at about 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, according to the Orangetown Police Department.
