The estranged husband of acclaimed New York City art dealer Brent Sikkema orchestrated his killing, prosecutors alleged. Daniel Sikkema, 54, was indicted on murder-for-hire and related charges in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday, Feb. 11, in the death of Brent Sikkema. Colleagues and loved ones are mourning the loss of a prominent attorney and businessman following his untimely death in a skiing accident in the Adirondacks. Kevin Colwell, founder and CEO of the Albany-based Colwell Law Group, died at the Gore Mountain ski resort on Saturday, Feb. 8, the firm said in a statement. Jurors in Hackensack convicted a Manhattan man for a second time of brutally murdering a popular software engineer in his Teaneck home.
