A lovers' spat led police in Pennsylvania to a Delaware mom wanted as a fugitive from justice in New Jersey, authorities said Wednesday, Nov. 27.
Officers took Tiffany Casapulla, 31, of New Castle, DE, into custody after responding to a domestic incident on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, at approximately 5:18 p.m. on the 1100 block of Sterling Avenue in Linwood, PA, Lower Chichester police said. A Cape May man was accused of decapitating a seagull on the boardwalk in North Wildwood, authorities said.
Franklin Zeigler, 29, was charged with third-degree animal cruelty, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, the North Wildwood Police Department said in a news release on Monday, July 22.
Officers responded to a report of an animal cruelty incident at Morey's Piers on Saturday, July 6, and witnesses said Ziegler had decapitated the shorebird. Ziegler was also "irate and uncooperative" with police on an unrelated investigation.

Two parents and two students were arrested after a brawl at Highland Regional High School in Camden County, authorities said.
Brianne Mitchell, 41, of Clementon, and Krystal Turner, 38, of Blackwood, are both facing charges following the fight that broke out Wednesday, March 20, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Gloucester Township police said.

Three South Jersey residents are accused of tying two dogs to a tree, leaving one to die, authorities said.
Derek Hardy, 58, Lassale Hardy, 56, and Shak Balayet, 51, all of Egg Harbor Township, were arrested on two charges of animal cruelty and multiple charges of disorderly persons, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
They were charged in connection with the death of one dog and cruelty to another.

A fight at Atlantic City High School led to the arrest of three teenagers and later three adults in a separate fight, authorities said.
On Wednesday, April 26, at 12:37 p.m., police were dispatched to the high school for a report of a fight among students and involving a teacher. Responding units arrived to find the fight had been broken up and the involved parties were separated.

A man assaulted a paramedic who asked him to put on a mask at a hospital in Bucks County, authorities said.
Jeffrey Choi, 42, is accused of grabbing the paramedic by their throat after refusing to put on a mask at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne on Monday, Feb. 21, Fall Township police said.
Another medic and hospital staff had to secure him before police arrived, they said.
