South Jersey Man Gets Prison Time For Rite Aid Robbery: Prosecutor A 54-year-old man from Burlington County has been sentenced to 15 years in New Jersey State Prison for the robbery of a Rite Aid store in Cumberland County, authorities said. Rodney Green, of Willingboro, was sentenced for robbery on Tuesday, Dec. 5, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. 19-Year-Old Driver Killed After Car Strikes Tree In South Jersey A 19-year-old man from Cumberland County was killed after his car veered off the roadway and struck a tree, authorities said. Jorge Soriano-Castelan, of Bridgeton, was driving south on Route 55 near Weymouth Road in Vineland at about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, when the crash occurred, according to New Jersey State Police. Soriano-Castelan lost control of his Infinity and struck a tree, State Police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Douglas G. Hitchner Jr., of Woodstown, was driving south in a Chevrolet SUV on Tindall Island Road in Greenwich Township at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 when his vehicle veered off the road to the right side, according to Detective I Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman with the New Jersey State Police. The SUV hit a tree and Hitchner sustained fatal injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation.
