Jersey City Man Wrongly Serving 30 Years For Mugging Victim's Murder Cleared After 16 Years
A Jersey City man serving a 30-year prison sentence for killing an elderly mugging victim in 2003 was released after state authorities re-examined the circumstances of his conviction. Dion Miller, 54, was released on Thursday, July 27, after 16 years behind bars thanks to a re-investigation that he requested from one of the nation’s first statewide conviction review units.
