Shooting Suspect Hiding In Boat Struggles With Police In Wildwood, Victim Flown: Authorities An "unintended target" of a shooting was flown to the hospital and a 20-year-old suspect found hiding in a boat was captured by police, but not after putting up a fight, authorities in Wildwood said. Officers responding to reports of shots fired near Spencer and Ocean avenues on Friday, May 12 around 9:05 p.m. found a victim with a gunshot wound to his upper left leg.  "The victim is believed to be an unintended target and was ultimately flown to Atlantic City Medical Center," police said, noting he was released several hours later after being treated for his injuries.
