A Chevrolet SUV was making a lane change in front of Ryan Gaskill, of Pennsauken, who was heading south on the interstate at milepost 1.1 in Gloucester around 9:40 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. A routine traffic stop led to two arrests in Bensalem, township police said in a release. A 45-year-old woman was killed when she was ejected from a vehicle she was riding in, in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Tuesday morning, Feb. 13, authorities said. A 37-year-old Salem County man was killed when he ran off a Cumberland County road and hit a tree, authorities said. Douglas G. Hitchner Jr., of Woodstown, was driving south in a Chevrolet SUV on Tindall Island Road in Greenwich Township at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 when his vehicle veered off the road to the right side, according to Detective I Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman with the New Jersey State Police. Daniel Lehner, of Newfield, was driving a Chevrolet Express van west on Route 40 in Pilesgrove Township at 6:29 a.m. on Feb. 2 when his van collided with a Toyota Highlander traveling north on Route 646/Pointers Auburn Road, according to New Jersey State Police. The crash occurred at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday at Route 553 and Route 629 in Lawrence Township, New Jersey State Police said.
