A Lower Township mother will spend several years in prison after admitting to drinking more than a dozen miniature vodka bottles before her infant son suffocated in bed, authorities said. Five people were hospitalized in a DWI simulation involving a golf cart operator by a juvenile and an officer at National Night Out in Wildwood on Tuesday, Aug. 6, authorities said. Michelle Stanton, 29, of Lower Township, was charged with second-degree manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child.
