A Middle Township man was accused of having more than 1,000 images of child pornography, authorities said. A Dennis Township man was accused of having child pornography on several laptops and cellphones, authorities said. Police in Cape May County were investigating two swatting incidents in Avalon, authorities said. Man Fell Off Pontoon In Cape May County, Gashed By Boat's Propeller: State Police
A man was hospitalized after he was hit by a pontoon boat's propeller in Cape May County, authorities said. A state police spokesperson said the 51-year-old man fell off the front of the pontoon when it hit a large wake in Lower Township at around 7:35 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3. The propeller gashed open the man's stomach and one of his arms. He was rushed to a nearby hospital. The man was expected to survive his injuries, police said.
