Man Critically Injured In Double Shooting At South Jersey Apartment Complex, Police Say
A Bridgeton man was accused of shooting two other men at an apartment complex, authorities said.
Cas Albert Miller, 31, was arrested after the shooting at Amity Heights on Pamphylia Avenue on the morning of Saturday, Aug. 10, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. He reportedly lives at the apartment complex.
When officers arrived, they found the victims, 45 and 31 years old, with gunshot wounds. One man was rushed to Cooper University Hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition, while the other man was treated at the scene and released.

Man, 25, Shot Dead In Cumberland County: Police
A 25-year-old Bridgeton man was shot and killed, authorities said.
On Sunday, Sept. 3, at approximately 9:25 p.m., Bridgeton police responded to Mount Vernon Street on for a report of a gunshot victim, Bridgeton police said.
Police found the victim, identified as Brian Pineda, who resided at the residence, suffering from gunshot wounds, tney said.
Officers immediately attempted live-saving efforts until Bridgeton Fire Dept. EMTs arrived. The victim did not survive and was pronounced dead a shot time later.

A second 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Bridgeton, authorities said.
An adult, meanwhile, remains wanted in the case, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
On Tuesday July 6, the teenager was arrested by members of the Bridgeton Police Department and Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office. Cumberland County Man Found Guilty Of Manslaughter: Prosecutor
A 33-year-old man from Cumberland County has been found guilty of manslaughter, authorities said.
Raheem Jacobs, of Bridgeton, was found guilty of the Aug. 11, 2015, homicide of Keon Butler, also of Bridgeton, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.
A Cumberland County jury returned the verdict Thursday, May 26, finding Jacobs guilty of second-degree reckless manslaughter following a two-and-a-half week trial.
The homicide occurred while Butler was driving a minivan near the intersection of North Laurel and Myrtle Streets in Bridgeton, the prosecutor said.

New Jersey State Police have arrested a 21-year-old South Jersey suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a Cumberland County man who went missing for three days.
State Police charged Miguel Perez, 21, of Bridgeton, with murder in connection to the disappearance of Jonathan Morris II, 23, of Bridgeton, whose remains were discovered Monday in Hopewell Township.
