Tractor-Trailer Becomes Fully Engulfed In Flames On NJ Turnpike (

A tractor-trailer caught fire on the New Jersey Turnpike in Burlington County, authorities said. New Jersey State Police responded at 4:11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11 to a vehicle fire on the New Jersey Turnpike south outers, milepost 53.7 in Bordentown Township, according to spokesman Trooper Troy McNair. Upon troopers' arrival, a Wabash tractor-trailer was found fully engulfed in flames, McNair said. There were no injuries reported and the cause remains under investigation, he said. The right shoulder remained blocked as of 11 a.m., 511nj.org reported.

Tractor-Trailer Flips Blocking NJ Turnpike In South Jersey
A tractor-trailer overturned blocking the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. The crash occurred at 8:24 a.m. near Interchange 7 (Route 206) in Bordentown Township, according to New Jersey State Police. "A tractor-trailer lost control and overturned but the driver did not report any injuries," Sgt. Phillip Curry, a State Police spokesman said. The scene is still active awaiting vehicle removal, Curry said at 10 a.m.. All lanes were blocked, 511nj.org reported. Entering traffic was being diverted to the northbound inner roadway.

Crash With Injuries Reported On Route 130 South Jersey
There was a crash with injuries in South Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 23 on Route 130 southbound north of route 662 in Bordentown Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Four people were hospitalized with serious injuries in two crashes on the New Jersey Turnpike just hours apart on Thursday, Oct. 6, first responders said. Robbinsville and Bordentown Township firefighters responded to the first crash near milepost 59.2 south of exit 7A and found that a person had a severe head injury after a truck had overturned in the outer lanes around 9:20 a.m., the Robbinsville Fire Department said. A crash that knocked down a utility pole and traffic signal shut down part of Route 130 in South Jersey, authorities said. Drivers were experiencing heavy delays. The crash was at about 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16 at Dunns Mill Road in Bordentown Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. A 58-year-old man from South Jersey was killed when his van collided with a tractor trailer, authorities said. The crash occurred at 8:08 p.m. on Monday, according to Bordentown Township police.
