South Jersey Man, 64, Dies In Late Night ATV Crash Near Shooting Range: Police
An Egg Harbor Township man was killed when he crashed his ATV late at night, authorities said. The 64-year-old man died in the crash on Friday, Sept. 20, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release on Monday, Sept. 23. Officers responded to the wreck on Betsy Scull Road near the Atlantic County Firearms Training Facility at around 11:30 p.m. Investigators said the man was driving a 2017 Can-Am ATV when it struck a utility pole. Atlantic City Neighborhood Evacuated When ATV Rider Hit Gas Meter, Police Say
An ATV rider was accused of crashing into a gas meter, forcing residents to evacuate from an Atlantic City neighborhood, authorities said. Laron Wright of Atlantic City was charged with recklessly creating the risk of widespread injury/damage and disorderly conduct, the city's police department said in a news release on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Illegal ATV Driver Seriously Injured In Reckless Black Horse Pike Crash, Police Say
An ATV driver was seriously injured after police say he drove recklessly along Black Horse Pike and crashed in Gloucester Township Friday, Aug. 16. The four-wheeled ATV operator was found lying in the roadway while the ATV itself had come to rest in a nearby wooded area near Clementon Avenue around 6:35 p.m., local police said. A 78-year-old grandfather hitched a trailer with three ATVs inside to his pickup and stole them before dawn from an Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Wallington, authorities said. ATV Rider Arrested After Fleeing Police In South Jersey, Authorities Say
A 32-year-old man from Atlantic City was arrested after trying to flee police on his ATV, authorities said. On Saturday, April 30, at approximately 12:30 p.m.,Marcus Langford was arrested by Sgt. Ryan VanSyckle after attempting to elude police, Pleasantville police said.
