Three Philadelphia men were indicted after two women were shot in the head in Atlantic City, including one who died, authorities said.
A grand jury indicted 34-year-old Gregg Page for murder, attempted murder, and several weapons charges on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. Two brothers, 30-year-old Ryan Schenck and 27-year-old Ramir Schenck, were also indicted for hindering apprehension.

A man and a woman admitted to their roles in a shooting near an Atlantic City apartment complex more than a year and a half ago, authorities said.
Tawanne Williams, 42, of Philadelphia, and Jessica Bryant, 33, of Atlantic City, pleaded guilty to charges on Monday, May 6. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced their pleas in a news release on Tuesday, May 7.

An Atlantic City man was sentenced on Thursday, Jan, 4, to three years in state prison after police found him with a BB gun, heroin, and fentanyl in 2021, authorities said.
Atlantic County prosecutors said 43-year-old Emmanuel Diaz had been convicted of third-degree unlawful possession of a BB gun.
On Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, Atlantic City police saw Diaz walking near South Montpelier Avenue. The officers said when they made eye contact with Diaz, he put what looked like a semi-automatic black handgun in his front pocket.

On Wednesday, Aug.15, at 8:56 p.m., Atlantic CIty Police Officer Joseph Kelly conducted a motor vehicle stop in the first block of south Ohio Avenue.
While speaking to the driver, Joseph Lawrence, and waiting for Lawrence to provide needed documents, Officer Kelly observed an open backpack with a handgun inside, police said. Lawrence and his passenger, Tyheem Williams, were arrested with assistance from responding officers.

An armed man was arrested by Atlantic City police after a foot chase, authorities said.
On Sunday, July 2, at 9:30 p.m., Detective Christopher Dodson received information regarding a man in the beach block of California Avenue that was in possession of a handgun.
Dodson, along with Detectives Aaron Jones and Eric Evans, and Officer Brandon Bower, located Quadry Wise, police said.
As detectives approached to investigate, Wise began to run, police said.
As he attempted to jump a fence, he was apprehended and taken into custody without further incident.

Trio Charged With Drug Offenses In Atlantic City: Police
Three people were charged with various drug-related offenses in Atlantic City, authorities said.
A handgun also was recovered on June 29, according to Atlantic City police.
A court-ordered search warrant on the home of Kassandra Beebe, 33, of Atlantic City. turned up more than 24 grams of methamphetamine, 52 bags of heroin, three grams of cocaine, and prescription pills.
Beebe was charged with dealing drugs.
Anthony Savage, 38, of Pleasantville, was charged with possession of drugs.
Beebe and Savage were released pending court appearances.

Four men were charged with dealing cocaine or heroin in Atlantic City, authorities said.
On Friday, May 19, Detectives Christopher Dodson, Eric Evans, Alberto Valles, and Kevin Perez under the supervision of Sgt. Garry Stowe were assigned to patrol specific areas of the city.
Dodson received detailed information in reference to a group of men allegedly selling drugs in the 2400 block of Arctic Avenue, Atlantic City police said.

Phillip Hayes, of Woodbine, was arrested in Atlantic City on Friday, May 19 by Atlantic City police, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
Hayes had an outstanding warrant in connection to the August 28, 2022 homicide of Malika McLaughlin in Atlantic City, the prosecutor said.

MD Hossain Morshed, 49, a Democrat who represents the city’s Fourth Ward, was charged in a complaint unsealed Friday, March 17, in U.S. District Court in Camden.
