Four men were charged with dealing cocaine or heroin in Atlantic City, authorities said. On Friday, May 19, Detectives Christopher Dodson, Eric Evans, Alberto Valles, and Kevin Perez under the supervision of Sgt. Garry Stowe were assigned to patrol specific areas of the city. Dodson received detailed information in reference to a group of men allegedly selling drugs in the 2400 block of Arctic Avenue, Atlantic City police said. Fugitive Arrested In Fatal Atlantic City Shooting: Prosecutor
A 36-year-old Cape May County man was arrested on charges related to a fatal shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said. Phillip Hayes, of Woodbine, was arrested in Atlantic City on Friday, May 19 by Atlantic City police, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Hayes had an outstanding warrant in connection to the August 28, 2022 homicide of Malika McLaughlin in Atlantic City, the prosecutor said. Bloodied Suspect Struck Grandmother With Weight Or Statue, Prosecutor Says
The suspect in the killing of his grandmother allegedly struck her with a heavy object, authorities said. Cyril Lloyd, 26, of Carteret. was charged with murdering the 77-year-old woman, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. A five-pound weight and a statue, both with blood on them, were found at the crime scene, said Brynn Krause, a spokeswoman for the prosecutor. Shock and sadness spread following the shooting death of a Mercer County man. De Haven Rogers, formerly of Hamilton, was found suffering a gunshot wound in the front yard of a Sussex Street home in Ewing on Wednesday afternoon, April 26, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. A 34-year-old fugitive from Trenton has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in connection with a shooting that left an innocent bystander dead, authorities said. Rasheed Funderburg had been fighting with a younger male on the 330 block of Rutherford Avenue on Friday, April 14, when the younger male fled, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.
