Witness Stopped, Pulled Victim From Fatal I-684 Plane Crash That Took Off From NJ: Report Federal officials have released more information about a small plane crash on Interstate 684 at the border of Fairfield, CT, and Westchester, NY counties.   The information, which centered on a fatal plane crash on I-684 on Thursday, Dec. 12, was released in a preliminary report by the National Transportation Safety Board on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Rockland County resident and commercial pilot Jacob Yankele Friedman of Monsey, age 32, was killed in the crash, while the 26-year-old private pilot, Kalmen Goldberger, of Linden, NJ, was hospitalized with serious injuries. South Jersey Woman Strikes Overpass, Dies In I-87 Crash In Northern NY: Troopers A New Jersey woman was killed when her vehicle overturned and crashed into an overpass in upstate New York's Capital Region, authorities said. Jennifer Okoro-Ibiam, 42, of Pemberton, died in the Warren County crash in Queensbury, on Monday, Nov. 18, New York State Police said in a news release. Troopers responded to the scene on Interstate 87 North at around 6:20 a.m. Investigators said the vehicle overturned before colliding with the Gurney Lane overpass and going off the highway. The display by the 305th Air Mobility Wing includes a 15-jet formation of tankers and giant cargo planes over the Jersey Shore and Delaware River.
