A Salem man was killed when a car and his pickup crashed on a rural road in Upper Pittsgrove, authorities said. William Bedilion, 58, died in the crash at the intersection of Salem County routes 604 and 677 on Thursday, Sept. 5, a state police spokesperson said. Seven people were arrested in a drug bust in Atlantic City, authorities said. A driver was airlifted after crashing into a home in New Egypt on Labor Day, authorities said. Plumsted police, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the crash at the intersection of Brindletown Road and Front Street early in the evening on Monday, Sept. 2, the township said in a Facebook post. The driver was the only person in the SUV and was taken by helicopter to a hospital. No one was in the home during the crash.
