Cocaine, Heroin, Meth, Rifle, Cash Seized In South Jersey Bust

A 51-year-old woman from Cape May County has been arrested on drug-dealing charges, authorities said.

Dawn Corcoran, of the Villas section of Lower Township, was charged with the possession and distribution of cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine.

On Wednesday, Oct. 26, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force, the Lower Township Police Department, the North Wildwood Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration along with the assistance of the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team made a warranted search at Corcoran's residence in the 3000 block of Bayshore Road, Lower Township.

As a result of the search, over 1⁄2 ounce of suspected cocaine, under 1⁄2 ounce of suspected heroin, under 1⁄2 ounce of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a .22 caliber long rifle, .22 caliber ammunition, and approximately $11,505 cash were seized, according to the Cape May County prosecutor.

Corcoran also was charged with money laundering and weapons offenses.

Corcoran was processed and released on a summons pending court proceedings.
