Lockdown Lifted At Bloomfield High School: Police
Bloomfield High School was placed on lockdown after an unauthorized juvenile was located near the building on the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 11, authorities said. Officers were notified by high school staff about the juvenile and the building was placed on lockdown as law enforcement conducted a search, Bloomfield police said. Officers said the unauthorized individual left the area of the high school, police said. There were no reported injuries and everyone is safe, police said. The lockdown was lifted and normal activity resumed at the high school, police said.

Juvenile Arrested After Shooting Person In Hip: Bayonne PD
A juvenile was arrested for shooting a person in the hip following an altercation in Bayonne on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 22, authorities said. At 7:58 p.m., the juvenile was involved in a verbal disagreement with a person at a house party in the area of W 9th Street, which culminated in the juvenile shooting the victim in the hip, Bayonne police said. Three juveniles are facing charges after leading a police pursuit across multiple Bergen County towns, ending in a collision involving a police car, authorities said. A 22-year-old Jersey City man faces up to 30 years in prison after he was recently convicted of an armed carjacking and robbery that occurred in 2022, authorities said. Two Boys Struck By Mercedes While Riding Bikes: Police
Two juveniles on bicycles were hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday, June 12 in Linden, authorities said. The two boys were pedaling toward Wheeler Park, eastbound across S. Stiles Street along the northern curb line of W. Edgar Road when they were struck in the crosswalk by an Elizabeth man driving a 2015 Mercedes Benz, Linden police said. Two Juveniles Arrested After Men Shot With BB Guns: Montclair Police
Two Bloomfield juveniles were arrested after firing BB guns in Montclair on Sunday, June 9, that struck multiple people, police said. Two men were standing outside The Meat Locker on Park Street when they were struck by BB's from a pellet gun that were fired from a passing vehicle, Montclair police said.
