A Bridgeton woman was accused of stabbing a man to death on the front porch of a home, authorities said. Wendy Perez, 27, was charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release on Monday, Dec. 2. The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office identified the victim as 26-year-old Rafael Morales-Domingo of Bridgeton. South Jersey Teen Driving Stolen Car Found With Fake Gun, Police Say
A Millville teen was accused of carjacking someone and driving the vehicle in Bridgeton, authorities said. Juan Vasquez Jr., 19, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 14, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. Officers stopped Vasquez while he was driving at around 11:06 a.m. Investigators said he was in a vehicle stolen during a carjacking in Millville. Vasquez was charged with carjacking, unlawful possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of an imitation firearm. The teen was held in the Cumberland County Jail.

South Jersey Man Accused Of Chasing Child In Car Avoids Prison For Gun Conviction: Prosecutors
A Pleasantville man avoided prison time after he was accused of being in a car that was chasing after a child, authorities said. Jordani Martinez-Casiano, 25, was sentenced on Thursday, July 11, to five years of probation, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. Man Set Off Explosive Device On Atlantic City Sidewalk, Police Say
An Atlantic City man was accused of setting off an explosive device downtown, authorities said. Stacy Thomas, 38, was arrested on Wednesday, July 10, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. An officer saw an explosion on a sidewalk on the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue at around 2:03 a.m. The officer saw someone running from the area but first went to the explosion site to see if there were any victims. A Bucks County woman accused of pointing a gun at an officer during a wellness check over the weekend is in police custody in New Jersey, authorities say. Karen Stevens-Nunez was arrested in Trenton on Monday morning, July 1, Falls Township police said.
