A 7-month-old infant died in Newark on Sunday, Sept. 1, authorities said. At 9 p.m., police responded to Avon Avenue and South 10th Street and found an unconscious and unresponsive infant, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. Gunshots were fired in Newark on the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 14, authorities said. A man in Hoboken is at large after he groped three women while riding an e-bike on Tuesday, July 30, authorities said. The incidents occurred near the intersections of Second and Garden Streets, Garden and First Streets, and Willow Avenue and Seventh Street between 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m., a spokeswoman for the Hoboken police said.
