While a man was placing air in their vehicle's tires, a teenage boy entered the vehicle in an attempt to steal it, police said. Teenager Fatally Shot In Irvington: Prosecutor A 17-year-old was fatally shot in Irvington on the early morning of Wednesday, July 3, authorities said. At 1:26 a.m., police responded to a shooting on the 1100 block of Grove Street and found the teenage boy suffering from gunshot wounds, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Irvington Public Safety Director Tracy Bowers said.
