Long Branch Bicyclist, 55, Killed In Crash Near West Long Branch Intersection: Prosecutors A Long Branch man died after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in West Long Branch, authorities said. The 55-year-old man was killed in the crash on Saturday, Nov. 30, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release. West Long Branch police responded to the crash near the intersection of Route 36 and Monmouth Road shortly after 9 p.m. Officers found the unnamed man and paramedics rushed him to Monmouth Medical Center.
