A jury found 51-year-old Andrey Penkin guilty of second-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, as well as two counts each of first-degree aggravated sexual assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. Michael Veisz, 40, died in the crash on Interstate 95 North in East Brunswick on Friday, Aug. 23, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene near milepost 81.2 at around 5:02 a.m. Investigators said a Chevrolet Impala driven by Veisz was in a single-car crash on the southbound inner side of the turnpike. Man, 45, Found Dead Floating In Central Jersey River Identified: State Police Troopers have identified the Edison man who was found dead in a river in East Brunswick. The body of 45-year-old Reynaldo Salcedo-Tavarez was discovered near where the Raritan and South rivers meet on Thursday, Aug. 8, a state police spokesperson said on Monday, Aug. 19. Marine troopers responded to the report of a person in the water at around 7:42 a.m. Salcedo-Tavarez's body was seen floating and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Salcedo-Tavarez's death remained under investigation and no other information was available.
