A 77-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a car while crossing an intersection in Manchester Township, police said.
The crash occurred on Feb. 28, at approximately 3:51 p.m. at the intersection of Tuckerton Avenue and Pershing Avenue, according to Manchester Township Police.
Responding officers found a white 2014 Toyota Corolla with front-end and windshield damage parked on the side of the road. The driver, a 45-year-Manchester woman, was uninjured, authorities said.

Nearly 295,000 Honda and Acura vehicles are being recalled due to a software issue that could cause engines to lose power or stall, increasing crash risks, officials said.

A 58-year-old New Jersey attorney and lobbyist was killed in Nashville, TN on Saturday, Oct. 19 after he was struck by a vehicle, authorities said.
Michael O'Connell, of Belmar, was crossing the street with the walk light when he was struck by 2009 Dodge pickup truck attempting to make a left turn, Nashville police said in a release. The driver, Joey Nixon, 36, had a green light but failed to yield to the pedestrian, police said. O’Connell died at the scene, police said.
