Route 73 To Remain Closed Overnight Following Crash That Downed Power Lines: Police
A portion of Route 73 will remain closed overnight following a crash on Thursday, Sept. 12. The crash involved a vehicle that struck a utility pole in front of the Lukoil at 921 North Route 73 in Mount Laurel around noon, police said. PSE&G was called to the scene as power lines fell, blocking the roadway and Fellowship Road. While no injuries were reported, the road was expected to reopen sometime Friday, Sept. 13.

Willingboro Man Fired Shot During Domestic Dispute In Marlton Apartment Building: Police
A Willingboro man was accused of firing a shot during a domestic dispute in Marlton, authorities said. Dion Williams, 23, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 27, the Evesham Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers were called to a domestic violence report in a building at the Olympus Apartment Homes at around 1:30 p.m. Investigators said police found one round had been fired from a gun. Pedestrian Killed In Mount Laurel Crash Didn't Use Crosswalk, Police Say
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed in Mount Laurel, authorities said. A vehicle heading south on Route 73 hit the pedestrian between Clover Road and Rogers Walk at around 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, Mount Laurel police said. The pedestrian wasn't identified as of Monday, Aug. 19. Investigators said the pedestrian didn't cross the road in a crosswalk. No other injuries were reported in the crash. The driver stopped and stayed at the scene. The crash remained under investigation.

Boy Struck, Killed By NJ Transit Train
A boy was struck and killed by an NJ Transit train early Thursday, Aug. 8 in Burlington County, officials said. The crash happened just before 8:20 a.m. and involved a northbound River LINE train at Chestnut Street crossing in Palmyra, NJ Transit spokesman Kyalo Mulumba said. There were no injuries reported to the 28 customers or the operator on board the light rail vehicle. A driver was shot shortly before he was involved in a multi-vehicle crash in South Jersey, authorities said. The 30-year-old man from Voorhees had a gunshot wound when police arrived at the crash scene at Route 73 and Cooper Road at about 11:15 p.m. on Friday, May 17, Voorhees police said.
